Frequently asked questions

Is Wi-Fi QR Code free?

Yes — completely free, with no signup and no watermarks. PL Tools is supported by a small number of non-intrusive ads.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They're static QR codes — the content is encoded directly in the image, so they work forever, with no tracking and no redirect service in between.

Can I use them commercially?

Yes. Use them anywhere — packaging, menus, posters, flyers or business cards.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. It's written only into the QR image, on your device. Anyone who scans the code can read the password, so only display it where you'd share the password anyway.

Do iPhones and Android phones support Wi-Fi QR codes?

Yes — the built-in camera on iPhone (iOS 11+) and most Android phones offers to join the network when scanning a Wi-Fi QR code.

Which formats are supported?

Input: Your content, plus an optional logo (PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP). Output: PNG, JPG, SVG or print-ready PDF.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. PL Tools works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and desktop — there's nothing to install.
