Your files stay with you
Reading, editing and saving all happen in your browser. Close the tab and the file is gone from this page — we never had a copy.
Checked before you download
Results are re-opened and checked where it matters: unlocked files really open, redacted pages really contain no hidden text, OCR'd PDFs really have searchable words.
Honest about limits
Scanned pages need OCR before you can search them, existing text can't be rewritten in place, and very large scans are slower on phones. We tell you instead of guessing.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Every task in this studio runs in your browser — the file is read and written on your device and never sent to our servers. OCR downloads its text-recognition engine and language data once from jsDelivr, then also runs locally.
Is there a file size limit?
Most tasks accept files up to 200 MB. Very large files work best on a computer; phones have less memory and may slow down on big scans.
Can I do several things to the same file?
Yes. Download the result of one task, then add it back here and pick the next task — for example organise pages, then add page numbers, then compress.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
You can cover existing text with a matching box and type replacement text on top, add new text, signatures, shapes and highlights. Changing the original text in place, like a word processor, isn't possible in a browser tool.
Is the signature legally valid?
The Sign task adds a simple electronic signature (an image of your signature). It is not a certificate-based digital signature such as a DSC or Aadhaar eSign. Whether a simple signature is enough depends on the document and where it is used.
What happens to password-protected PDFs?
If a PDF needs a password to open, unlock it first with Unlock PDF (you need to know the password — we never guess it), then use any other task. Protect PDF adds AES-256 encryption.
