Is UPI QR Code free?
Yes — completely free, with no signup and no watermarks. PL Tools is supported by a small number of non-intrusive ads.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They're static QR codes — the content is encoded directly in the image, so they work forever, with no tracking and no redirect service in between.
Can I use them commercially?
Yes. Use them anywhere — packaging, menus, posters, flyers or business cards.
Does this work with GPay, PhonePe and Paytm?
Yes. It creates a standard upi://pay code that every UPI app understands. Test it once by scanning with your own UPI app before printing.
Should I set an amount?
Leave it empty for a shop counter QR so customers type the amount. Set it for a fixed bill or invoice so they can't enter the wrong number.
Do you take a cut or see my payments?
No. The QR only contains your UPI ID — money goes straight from the payer's bank to yours. We never see or touch payments.
Which formats are supported?
