Is there a file size limit?

Nothing is uploaded, so there's no upload limit — but very large files depend on your device's memory. Files up to about 100 MB work well on most computers; phones may struggle with much larger ones.

Can it unlock a PDF if I don't know the password?

No. It removes a password you know, and it can lift print/copy/edit restrictions from a PDF that already opens without a password. It doesn't guess or crack passwords.

Is the password removed for sure?

Only after it's checked: the tool re-opens the new file to confirm it's no longer encrypted and still has every page, and only then offers the download.

Does it change the content?
