Is SEO Checker free?
Yes — free, with no signup. PL Tools is supported by a small number of non-intrusive ads.
Do you store the pages I check?
No. Our server fetches the page to analyse it and returns only the report. The address and the page aren't saved or logged.
What does it check?
Indexing (status code, HTTPS, redirects, noindex, robots.txt, canonical, sitemap), content (title, meta description, H1 and heading order, amount of text, image alt text, language), technical basics (mobile viewport, charset, favicon, HTML size, compression, mixed content, server response) and social previews (Open Graph, X card), plus structured data (JSON-LD).
Why can't it check my local or intranet site?
For security, the checker only fetches public websites. Addresses on private, local or reserved networks (like localhost, 192.168.x.x or cloud metadata addresses) are refused — including when a public address redirects to one.
Will fixing everything make me rank #1?
No tool can promise that. These checks cover the on-page basics that help search engines understand a page; rankings also depend on content quality, links, speed and competition.
Why does it say the page isn't a web page?
The address returned something other than HTML (for example a PDF or an image). Enter the address of an HTML page.
Does it work on my phone?
